" The Trevelyans are nobility from Ostwick, a city-state on the southern coast of the Free Marches. It is an old and distinguished family, in good standing among their peers, and with strong ties to the Chantry. Its youngest sons and daughters -- those third- or fourth-born children with little chance of becoming heirs -- often join the Chantry to become Templars or clerics. As a mage, however, Lady Evelyn Trevelyan was expected to spend her life in the Ostwick Circle of Magi.

A sedate place, the Ostwick Circle did not decide in favor of either Templars or mages, clinging to neutrality during the rebellion. Evelyn was chosen as a delegate to the Conclave in the hopes her noble position would provide protection for her fellow mages while negotiations continued. Trevelyan was the only survivor of the explosion that rocked the Temple of Sacred Ashes. Rumors that the mysterious mark on her hand is a sign of the Maker's favor were spread by those who claim they saw the divine Prophet, Andraste herself, lead Lady Evelyn out of the Fade. "




Key Decision Gates

In Hushed Whispers/In Your Heart Shall Burn - Sides with the Mages, and recruits them as equals into the Inquisition.
Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts - Celene and Briala reconcile, and Gaspard is executed. Morrigan and her son Keiran move to Skyhold.
Here Lies the Abyss - Warden Stroud stays in the Fade, and the Grey Wardens are recruited into the Inquisition.
What Pride Had Wrought - Completed the Elven rituals and allied with the Sentinals. Morrigan drinks from the Well of Sorrows.

Description Magic Interruption Like all mages, Evelyn is susceptible to abilities utilized for interrupting spellcasting and nullifying magic. Low Defense/Armor Rating Mages in general are restricted to cloth armor, making them easy to take out on the battlefield. Because of their wide range of abilities, it also makes them some of the first targets by enemy fighters.

ABILITIES

SKILL TREE - WINTER "Masters of this school of magic summon cold that bites deeper than the cruelest winter. Tehri icy spells slow and weaken enemies." This is the spell tree dedicated to enemy debuffs and crowd control. SKILL TREE - INFERNO "Masters of this school of magic dominate the battlefield with unrelenting fire. Enemies who survive the initial blast are driven mad with terror or burn to death in unquenchable flames." This is real damage dealer of the initial spell trees, being dedicated to DoTs (damage over time spells), causing terror, and massive burst damage. SKILL TREE - STORM "Masters of this school of magic call forth the power of thunder and lightning. Their spells paralyze foes and arc from one enemy to another." SKILL TREE - SPIRIT "Masters of this school of magic call upon spirits for protection, as well as the essence of the Fade itself. Their spells disrupt hostile magic, create defensive barriers, and even heal injuries." Evelyn only knows two or three spells from this skill tree - Barrier, Dispel, and Mind Blast.
